Havent blogged in yongs. Oh well..wonder if anyone actually reads my blog.

Anyways. I made a list of things i want in life last week. Its pretty cool. At least i have goals to work towards.

My list is called ” WORK FOR THIS SHIT!!” Its literally in bold and in red.

I shan’t state any of the goals on the list cos its personal.

I woke up with a damn bad neck pain and headache today. Went to the doctor and got 2 days MC. Called my army camp and told the clerk there about it. Apparently my superior isnt happy about. Well, Fudge her. Doctor’s MC is bigger than govt.

I think im gonna be damn bored at home… hmmmm

I think im too young to be in the army, literally the youngest guy in the whole of my camp. 1 year 9 months of NS left…

I have a new employer… he is tough, mean and strict. He only pays me $400++ for working my guts off.

His name is Mr Army or more commonly known as the Singapore Armed Forces.

As of 24th July ’09 i started serving my 2 years of compulsory national service. I just passed out of Tekong though.. gonna get my posting on the 18th. Hope its good…

Back home at last. Been travelling non-stop in the past 2 weeks.

First stop : Bali

Bali was great but didnt really do much in the 5 days there sight-seeing wise. It was more of enjoying the resorts that i stayed in. The first 3 days were spent in the padi terraced hills of Ubud. That place was damn boring yet peaceful and relaxing at the same time. Not much to do here so we just slept alot, ate alot and relaxed. The resort “Alila Ubud” was awesome and our bungalow villa came with a personal infinity pool in the backyard. Pure indulgence… Final 2 days was in Seminyak by the beachside. Once again the resort was great but the beach was even better. I love Bali. Its cheap, good and the sunny beaches are always welcome anyday.

Next stop : Nepal

Was dreading to go to Nepal but the trip actually turned out great simply because its a due wake-up call and eye opener for me(i think singaporeans are all spoilt inclusive of me). The poverty and infrastructure of the place is dreadful. The roads are shitty with holes within holes within holes within holes. The place is littered with rubbish and crap. And everyone seems to be struggling just to make a living. Apparently a qualified teacher here only earns $US80 a month. Apart from the culture shock, the food was actually decent and it was damn funny to see all the indian dudes holding hands while walking even though they aren’t bent.

2 great holidays, 2 great weeks and to end off i read 1 hell of a good book.

Its called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. I vouch for this book and highly reccommend anyone who has any inkling of ambition or interest in controlling their future. If your the kind of person who lies to yourself and say “money is not important to me” then forget about reading it. I honestly find these kind of people idiots because unfortunately for you lot, we are living in a world in which the Capitalist rules everything and everyone. It may be a sad fact but i believe that knowledge is valuable. But knowledge that is used to bring money is priceless. Ultimately knowledge= money= power. This is my new take on life.

crap. i must stop my rambling. Back to the book. Basically it teaches us how to think and act like a winner and dissassociate ourself from the majority of the population and ultimately become one highly intelligent rich-ass mtfker(do excuse my french =D ). A quote from Kiyosaki to leave you pondering… this quote is gold to me. Read it. Think about it. Appreciate the genius of it.

Ive been M.I.A for sometime cos of work commitments but it is with great joy that i declare my first job OVER! The experience and exposure was awesome and ive learnt shitloads so im glad i went through with it. The plus about it is the paycheck of cos… but the bastard govt. cut 20% off for CPF. (sif im even old enough to have a CPF account). But im really proud to have contributed to my family’s income pool and its kinda a personal milestone for me. Apart from a fairly difficult start the month really flew by. I still have 2 months ++ of holidays before my enlistment date end of july. So….

Ive decided to make the most of this precious time. This weekend im going to Bali for a couple of days and then im off to Nepal in 2 weeks time!! Hopefully i can travel like mad within this short amount of time. Apart from work… my life’s been pretty boring these few weeks. But one issue I’d like to raise is the global recession.

Wtf is wrong with the economy? We’re supposed to be in the worst recession since WWII but the stock market just grew 10% within the last week. Restaurants are still packed (I had to wait 45mins the other day just to get into Sushi Tei) and people ate still spending and spending and spending. Im not wishing the economy falls into despair but i just feel that the press is filtering too much shit from the general public to give an honest review about the current economic crisis. They should be talking more about the economy than about the fucking AWARE saga which my mum seems to take very seriously. Its just a bloody women’s rights group and it makes the front cover of the newpaper at least 3 times a week… Anyway, i went on this rant partly because im being a wet blanket since i semi-missed out on catching the bull-run rally in the stock market. damn me… at least there’s still *ka-ching to be made there.

1st week at work.

Its the end of the first week of work and im absolutely smashed tired.

Its really made me realise that what all the adults say is true…

The best days of your life really do happen in school. School life is easy peasy stuff compared to working life. Can’t wait to get over with N.S and have a blast at Uni.

Thank God for the Good Friday public holiday. i should have gone for mass but i was just too tired… slept at 5am cos i went to chill at A.Js house. Its a fkn mansion… had a great time chilling with his mum and her gay hairdresser dude friend. Its cool how white people are so much more open with their kids than the asian parents…we ended up talking about sex, drugs, porn and life.hahaha. Don’t get me wrong, im not saying i want such parents but it was just a real eye opener for me. 17 years olds chilling with 40++ year old adults.

I managed to get into Zouk on saturday night cos my friend friend’s some VIP. Managed to get in free cos of tt but buying drinks really killed my wallet. It was my first time there too! but i didnt manage to have much fun cos i ended up having to babysit the monkeys who got wasted… i shall return again with better company.

… so much for a fun weekend. Im $300 poorer, exhausted and much fatter from binging on booze and food.

Great…at least i get to look forward to work tmr.

I hate u so much right now..your the last person i ever want to see. plastic bitch. who i thought u were is so different from who u really are. shit happens i guess. well that shit is history from now on. its about time u grow up and take life more seriously cos life’s a real bitch.
